The HUCEG Mentorship Network is an exciting opportunity for leading professionals and academics to engage with highly motivated Harvard students, join an elite community of clean energy professionals, and shape the next generation of clean energy leaders.
Mentors will select a specific HUCEG program to support, ensuring targeted engagement without extensive obligations. The commitment is flexible, typically requiring one hour per month.

Programs to mentor

Support HUCEG’s incubator program, mentoring student-led clean energy startups. These mentors can also work with HUCEG: Connect, which is an initiative focused on building a tight-knit platform to connect energy VCs, ventures, and early stage talent. Ideal for startup founders, venture capitalists, and incubator leaders.

Guide HUCEG’s finance initiative, focusing on investment trends, financial modeling, and funding mechanisms for clean tech ventures. Ideal for professionals in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or project finance.

Open generally to professionals and academics with technical expertise across energy generation, environmental engineering, grid management and more. Ideal for professionals and academics with software and engineering backgrounds who can mentor HUCEG Build projects.

HUCEG Policy is becoming a think tank that advises, advocates for, and drafts legislation. We are creating original material and partnering with leading policymakers and think tanks. Ideal for people with a law and public policy background.

Our most prominent projects are our Industry Consulting Projects. Students might want mentorship if they intend to enter these careers. Ideal for people willing to connect HUCEG with clients and coffee chat with our analysts, associates, and case team leads.
